McKesson Specialty Health (MSH)’s breadth of products and solutions provide discrete value to multiple manufacturer stakeholders across a variety of commercial functions. We are seeking an individual to lead all marketing and communications efforts that support the promotion of the commercialization solutions and services
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Strategic Marketing - Manufacturer Solutions, this role is responsible for creating and executing a strategic marketing plan that fully supports the set of solutions that MSH has that help promote and commercialize products in the specialty market. This individual will work closely with the business leadership to help assess and determine the best go-to-market strategy and deliver the marketing support that drives profitable growth through customer optimization, retention and acquisition. Further, this position will work collaboratively with other team members of the Manufacturer Solutions Marketing team to establish an overarching cohesive plan which integrates all solutions and target segments.
Develop GTM approach and strategic marketing plan to drive maximum uptake, retention, and growth.
Partner closely with the sales teams to identify key sales enablement needs including core presentations
Partner with marketing communication team to deliver high impact content that can be used across all functions and communication channels including sales, events, and digital to effectively sell the value of the commercialization solutions.
Collaborate with the business to execute a thought leadership plan that communicates our position and core messages in this space and identify potential thought leadership opportunities that continue to support the business and its communication objectives
Develop a digital presence that illustrates the informatics solutions and provides a vehicle for the business to better inform and communicate with customers
3+ years of marketing experience including 1+ years managerial experience
3+ years of marketing experience required.
3+ years experience developing customer facing strategy and developing/executing activities that drive business goals
Experience with data and/or informatics
1+ years of managerial experience
Experience within healthcare required, specifically biopharma or work with physician practices
Experience with market competitive analysis and strategic planning required
Additional Knowledge & Skills
B-to-B experience preferred.
Experience in pharmaceutical, oncology or specialty drugs highly preferred
Strong critical thinking, analytic and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, including the confidence and polish to routinely interact with an executive level audience
Experience successfully managing high-visibility, high-priority projects in a complex, matrix organization
Ability to multi-task, manage changing priorities and meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced marketing environment, constantly striving for excellence
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and ability to influence others
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and proactive project management ability
Thorough knowledge of company products and services
Experience working with and managing outside strategic partners and vendors
Strong budget management skills and general financial acumen
4-year degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
