Automotive Management Internship
The Kunes Country Auto Group Automotive Management Internship is a fast track to learning the fundamentals of the Automotive industry.
The Automotive Management Internship is a paid internship in which candidates will begin their career paths in the front-end operations of the dealership to learn the core fundamentals of dealership operations.
From there, candidates will be able to be selected for advanced training opportunities to learn different spectrums of the car dealership or to develop the skills to lead into management.
Base Salary: $31,200 Annually ($600 per week)
Volume Incentive: $100 per vehicle delivered
Volume Bonus: $50 per vehicle delivered (retro) at 10 units, $100 per vehicle delivered (retro) at 15 units, $200 per vehicle delivered (retro) at 20 units.
Volume bonuses are retroactive to unit one (1) and do not stack.
Paid Vacation: One (1) week paid vacation on hire that may be used after 90 days of employment.
Paid vacation for the first year will be based on a base weekly salary.
Second-year and every year thereafter will be based on prior YTD earnings.
Two (2) weeks paid vacation after two (2) years of employment.
Three (3) weeks paid vacation after ten (1) years of employment.
Schedule: Automotive Management Interns will have the option to either work a 4-day work week (4 ten-hour shifts) or the standard 5-day work week (standard shift times).
Scheduled days will rotate to include one (1) Saturday off per month (May not be the last Saturday of the month unless utilizing paid vacation time).
Longevity Bonus: After one (1) full calendar year of employment, candidates will be receiving a year-end longevity bonus of the following: 1 year of employment: 1% of YTD Income
2 years of employment: 2% of YTD Income
3 years of employment: 3% of YTD Income
4+ years of employment: 4% of YTD IncomeBenefits:

Please see below. Eligibility: Employees hired into the Automotive Management Internship program will be eligible to convert to the standard commission-based salesperson pay plan if desired at six (6) months or any time after achieving a 90-day average of 15 units.
Employees hired on to the standard commission-based salesperson pay plan will be eligible to switch to this Automotive Management Internship after reaching a 90 average of 10 units or higher.
Employees who switch from the standard commission-based salesperson pay plan to this plan must maintain a 10-unit average to remain eligible.
