Description:Lead Hardware Engineer for Power Supplies/Power Systems. Provide the technical and programmatic leadership for Radar, Sonar, and EW design teams. Must be capable of executing all stages of a challenging Power Supply/Power system design. Ensure adequate trade studies, architectures, technical analysis, common hardware solutions, quality of products, and proper engineering process and methodology. Responsible for hardware engineering, cost, schedule, and technical performance. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead/interact with a cross functional team. Will interact directly with various internal/external customers to work through technical issues and program planning.
System/Circuit design experience in one or more of the following areas: Power Supplies, Power Systems, Power conversion development. Detailed HW development experience. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Cross-Functional or Integrated Product team leadership experience. Cost Account management experience. Knowledge of Earned Value Management and tracking practices. Radar, Sonar, EW system knowledge and development experience.
